This neighborhood just south of SOMA is accessible by Muni bus lines 19 Polk, 53, 22 Fillmore, 10 Townsend, 15 3rd Street. The 3rd Street light rail is in the process of being built, will eventually run along 3rd Street to the Bayview district.

There is a Caltrain stop on Pennsylvania St to or from San Jose, CA.

  • Anchor Steam Brewery
  • Vermont Street. The (nearly) twistiest street in America, (a less known version than Lombard Street, which is at Leavenworth and Hyde).
  • Views of downtown. Great place to watch fireworks.
