Get in

Koh Kong has an airport but it's not currently used for commercial passenger flights.

From Cambodia

The quickest way to get to Sihanoukville is the daily fast ferry (USD15) which leaves around 08:00-08:20 and takes 4-5 hours - however this option may not be the best if the weather is less than favourable and there's a heavy swell.

Koh Kong is also linked to Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville via Sre Ambel by National Route 4. Most of this road is unsealed so conditions and transit times depend on the weather, usage, and recent maintainence. It's a moderately scenic drive through some of Cambodia's least developed and unspoiled regions, and entails four vehicle ferry crossings. Minibuses leave Koh Kong in the mornings - expect to pay about USD8.

From Thailand

The Thailand border crossing is a few km west of the town. Motos (USD1 plus toll for the bridge) and taxis go between the border post and the town/port.
