Berlin/Pankow

Pankow is a district of Berlin. Since 2001 the three former districts Prenzlauerberg, Weissensee and Pankow form the new Pankow district. For tourists, by far the most interesting place is Prenzlauerberg (called Prenzelberg). This former district has impressively changed since the reunification, from deserted houses to a lively area for students, artists, and young people.
